A flavor co-created with NBA All-Star Anthony Davis as part of Ruffles' 'Chip Deal' athlete-partnership program (Davis signed the first-ever such deal with Ruffles in June 2019). PepsiCo's official press release for NBA All-Star 2020 confirms Davis 'just last month unveiled his Ruffles Lime & Jalapeno chip flavor,' placing the launch in January 2020. The flavor was notable for being the first Frito-Lay snack package to feature a celebrity's likeness on the bag. Food-media reporting in late 2024/2025 listed Ruffles Lime & Jalapeno among Frito-Lay products slated for discontinuation.
